Hard moments rarely come with the right words. You're lying awake, sitting in a hospital hallway, or staring at a message you wish you hadn't read - and you just need something steady to hold onto.
“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort.”
What this is
God's Support is a small, independent website. You tell it what you're feeling or going through - anxious, grieving, lonely, tired, afraid - and it gives you a Bible verse for that moment, with a few warm, human words alongside it.
There's no app to install, no account to create, and nothing to figure out. It's meant to take less than a minute, at any hour, from any phone.
How the verses are chosen
- Every verse is quoted from the King James Version, which is in the public domain - so it can be shared freely.
- Each topic was put together by hand: the verses people have turned to for comfort for centuries, matched to real situations.
- The short reflections are written to comfort, not to lecture. They're not a diagnosis and not a doctrine - just a gentle word from one person to another.
What it isn't
This site is not a church, a counselor, or a replacement for medical or mental-health care. If you're struggling, please also talk to someone who can be there with you in person - a friend, a pastor, a doctor.
If you're thinking about ending your life or hurting yourself, please reach out right now. In the US, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), free and available 24/7. Outside the US, call your local emergency number.
Your privacy
What you type in the search box stays in your browser - we don't see or store it. We only use cookies (Meta Pixel and Google Analytics, to count which topics are opened and to measure our ads) if you accept them, and you can change your choice anytime via “Cookie settings”. The full policy is on the home page.
How it stays free
The site is free and will stay free. It's kept online by people who found it helpful and chose to give a little back, so the next person going through something hard can find it too.
