Hope doesn't have to be loud or certain to be real. Even a small flicker is enough to start with.
“The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
When you're searching for hope
Hope doesn't have to be loud to be real. Sometimes it starts as a single sentence you decide to believe.
Hope doesn't have to be loud or certain to be real. Even a small flicker is enough to start with.
“The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast.”
An anchor doesn't stop the storm. It keeps you from drifting.
“Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.”
Hope and courage grow together.
“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
This hope won't leave you embarrassed.
“But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.”
Hope is waiting with your eyes open.
“And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.”
When nothing else is certain, this can be.
God of hope, I need some today. Fill the empty places with your peace, and help me believe that better days are coming. Be my anchor while I wait. Amen.
